What do you think? GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming was named more often on the list of ways science has been helpful. Several students gave science credit for identifying the problem and coming up with solutions. In general global warming was named less this year than other years. Do Americans think the problem has been solved?

Nick J says: global warming hasn't been as addressed this year because there are more economical problems going on right now that America isn't paying much attention to the environment

ReplyDeleteI partly agree with Nick that the world (especially the U.S.A.) has not been paying as much attention to global warming but we still are paying attention to it. It's a very disturbing matter that places on the earth could flood. Many people could be injured or even killed so it is always important to remember and be aware of this event.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with Nick that global warming hasn't been as addressed because there are more economic problems. In 2009 there was a world wide conference called "Copenhagen for Hopenhagen". This conference was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, around 200 world leaders attended to this multi day conference about global warming. Unfortunately the conference didn't go as planned, but at least they tried. Also there are many organizations about global warming.
